About Us
Our History
Master Print Communications started out as Master Quick Print and was founded by Ted Lanes in 1970. Ted had many years of printing experience, printing magazines, bulletins, newsletters and stationary for the churches he pastored in Minnesota and Illinois. In the late 60s he moved to California and started one of San Diego's first quick print shops. Ted's mid-western work ethic and family values proved to be a valuable asset and his reputation for friendly, helpful service quickly spread and the business began to grow. In 1978 his grandson joined the business and is now president. Master continues to be a family owned and operated San Diego printing business, now in its fourth generation.
